An open appeal for spring break inspiration.

Spring break begins tomorrow.   As is usually the case, we are not traveling anywhere over this vacation.   So I’m trying to think of fun, inexpensive things to do with the kids during the week.  This is what I’ve thought of so far:
– going to the zoo
– going to a park we’ve never gone to before
– swimming (indoor pool)
– riding the city bus downtown to visit the main library
– taking a trip to Old Town to eat lunch with daddy

At our kids’ ages, most ideas (like #1,2,3 above) are waaaay more appealing with friends along, so I’m working on that. But I’d love a few more options.   Any great ideas?

  5. There were a couple of years that my dad did a scavenger hunt around Wichita for me and my brother. That would take some thinking on your part, but I remember it was a pretty fun day.

  6. Do you have CAFFEINE FOR THE CREATIVE MIND.. it has some daily creative exercises. I used it on our family vacation last year.. it was great!
