I’m also mom to a cute, observant, energetic 7 year old boy who has a thing about Nerf Guns and soccer.
I’m wife to a creative, optimistic, visionary who makes things happen in ways I could never imagine. I love him.

We are learning a lot about how to be a family, how to work, how to parent, how to ‘kid’, how to lead, how to move in our faith, how to pray, how to trust. All of these things show up on this blog occasionally.
I’m the worship leader at FirstMBChurch. We’ve attended this church for 15 years, and I’ve been on the worship staff in some capacity for almost 11 years. Often I feel that the more I’m involved in corporate worship, the less I understand it. So sometimes I write about what happens when people gather to worship…. what happens when musicians get together…. what happens when we try to quantify and describe God-centered worship.
