An open appeal for spring break inspiration.
Spring break begins tomorrow. As is usually the case, we are not traveling anywhere over this vacation. So I'm trying to think of fun, inexpensive things to do with the kids during the week. This is what I've thought of so far:
- going to the zoo
- going to a park we've never gone to before
- swimming (indoor pool)
- riding the city bus downtown to visit the main library
- taking a trip to Old Town to eat lunch with daddy
At our kids' ages, most ideas (like #1,2,3 above) are waaaay more appealing with friends along, so I'm working on that. But I'd love a few more options. Any great ideas?

Give them the week, starting Monday, to put a band together. By Friday of Spring Break, they need to perform at least one original song. Then deck out the barn with lights and sound and hold a concert for all their friends :)
kim. hmmm...i dunno.
do something different each day.
role reversal one day. you be the kids - they can be the adults.
have them cook dinner (include grocery shopping for items)
