Boy Bands, Part 1: Jon and Richie

Despite the fact that drums are his first love, Jbuddy does have great enthusiasm for his second instrument, which is the guitar. A few times this summer he came with us to our weekly worship band rehearsal (not usually an option b/c we get home so late). He and his friend, Richie* (*not his real name), joined the rehearsal with an energetic display of musicianship. The video shows their ‘duet’ prowess. We were unable to secure video of their participation with the larger band, as we were all, you know, playing. My favorite part is what they put on their music stands. I believe Mr. Sambora stops playing toward the end of the clip for a bathroom stop. Everyone knows the show must go on. Perhaps that’s when they hit rock bottom?
