Kim is out of the office….
We have free wi-fi tonight, and so we sit, after the kids have gone to bed, with our laptops out, quite happy. I’m sure at some point I’ll blog about vacation. But for now, I give you this picture.
This is the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal North Pierhead Light, built in 1881. The Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal allows passage from Sturgeon Bay (off of Green Bay) and Lake Michigan.
I took this picture yesterday. From a small ski boat with exactly 4 humans in it that seemed terribly fragile as it pointed toward a horizon filled with Lake Michigan. Ahhhh…….

WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU VISITING LAKE MICHIGAN NOW, a year or two late??????????? Next stop, India! (no, not Indiana, INDIA!)
I miss you and love you. I hope you’re having a great time so far away from the wheat fields of Kansas… Your picture makes me homesick.
